Can anybody tell me where these wires go? The black wire on the steering column, ground wire, is just cut. It looks like a pretty important ground. The second wire with the blue clip on it, looks black but is purple and is located by the driver kick panel. Where do these wires go? It's probably causing the electronic problems in my car...i need help...i've searched for diagrams but they don't show where these wires go. Someone help me fix my Type R....

 

those dont look like oem . i wouldnt worry about where they go just remove em . if your having problems it has to be something else

 

I just went out and looked under my dash and didn't see any of those wires. So I agree that those are not OEM. Maybe an alarm that was removed?

 

Hmm, that makes sense now. My next issue is that when I click the headlight switch once, nothing lights up. Signal lights, dash board, tail lights...nothing. Everything lights up once I click it twice though. Is there some kind of rely that is perhaps missing or something?

 

Hmmmm, that's gonna take some thought. It seems like a relay thing but which one? I haven't delt with this yet so maybe somebody will have some idea's.

 

It sounds like the switch assembly #35255-sr3-g02 for $98 is going bad.

You will have to remove it to replace it. Before you buy a replacement, remove the old one and test it:
