rs machine
Why spend 1k with rs machines and not 1k with golden eagle, they have sleeved more blocks than all the sleeving companies combined.
Mine was 1050$ shipped back to me, o ringed with 70psi/1300whp lifetime warranty sleeves. I shipped it to them in a big *** ups box, it came back in a little bitty ups box with my sleeved block wooden crated up inside.
My local machine shop was blown away by the quality of the work, and couldn't believe the low price charged. None of our local shops can touch that price with darton mids.
I think if I were to try another sleeve it would be the AEBS T sleeves, always wanted a set of those.

Dave is a stand up guy...I sleeved all my honda and toyota motors with him. He just finished my 2ZZ celica motor with custom pistons and sleeves in a month...Just like he promised. RS machines & Dave has always given me the best sevice and products. Go with RS machines and you wont regret it!
some people may not be aware that RS used to be owned by a different person than it is today. The machine shop was sold a few years back to its current owner. As far as I know when Dave took over, the shop was all good from that point on. Dave also owns a shop out in Phoenix "Import powerhouse" which has been open for nearly 10 years. If you have shitty service you wont stay open for ten years. My .02

Where did that fact come from? Benson was installing iron ductile sleeves in blocks long before GE. The quality of RS sleeves are fine, but be prepared for out of round bores and not straight decks.
Dave @ RS is good people, I've installed a few of there blocks and I've never had an issue with there sleeves. I currently use Darton's exclusively, since a local shop does them with extreme precision.
Why not get an ERL sleeved block. There's no doubt you will pay more money but the quality of work that you will receive from them will be top notch. They also will provide you with great customer service. Here is a picture of a Honda K24 block that's been assembled. It does not have O-rings because it is going to be using a standard gasket and they step deck their blocks to have a better seal in the combustion chamber. This means they leave the sleeves sticking up like .002"-.003" above the deck surface. O-ring is ok on a Honda block but really if you want a better seal you should just go with 1/2" head studs first because they are less maintenance and have 60% better clamping force than a standard sized ARP stud, then see if you still need more help and consider O-ring.
Seriously, you may want to consider spending the extra cash and getting something that will last for a very long time! They will sleeve it, deck it, hot tank, stress relieve, align hone (only bore if necessary. Not necessary in most cases) and finish cylinder hone to piston spec all for the price of the sleeving. 1500.00

But comeing from a second rate racer and a third rate motor builder. I am not suprised.

At least I am first rate at something huh?
TrickEng, regardless of your opinion on their process, you do realize that a lot of the record breaking cars are using GE sleeves, without failures due to GE's work. right?
I have a few blocks there right now, and have an ERL block in my car right now.

RS sleeved 2 of my blocks and never had problems
