I didn't see your original post, so I'm going to list the obvious:

If you have no light no matter where the switch is positioned:
Use a multimeter or testlight to test if you have voltage going up there. you either have a blown fuse (just because it LOOKS good doesn't mean it is, test it with a meter), burned out bulb, or your + wire has been cut or pinched off somewhere between the fusebox and the light itself.

If you have light with the switch in the "on" position, but not in the "door" position:
You either have bad door pins or a cut or pinched off wire somewhere between the door pins and the light itself.

If you have light with the switch in the "door" position, but not in the "on" position:
You didn't screw the light fixture up into the ceiling yet, did you? The light gets it's ground for the "on" position through the mounting screws.

Do your rear lights work when you turn on your head lights? the interrior fuse and the rear taillight fuse are the same. May help you troubleshoot the problem.

Oh, that's right. I remember now... It's your dash lights that are troubling you, I was thinking dome light when you said "interior" above.

Did you check out the dimmer ****?
I'll assume that's what you mean by 'switch' above, test the wires that plug in to the dimmer **** to see if you get 12v to one of them when your headlights are on.

If not, it has to be either the fuse or the wire from the fuse to the dimmer switch.

Well, the easy way to fix it would be to just run a new wire from the parking light wire to the dimmer switch, put an in line fuse on the wire because you won't be going through the factory fuse anymore. I can meter my wires at work tommorow and tell you tomorow night which color wires to use.

Ok, try this;

Run a jumper wire from the red w/ green wire on the dimmer switch to the heavier guage red w/ green wire comming from the headlight switch(this wire should show 12 volts when the parking lights are on.) put a 10 amp fuse on the wire to protect everything.

ah i think you have a short in the wiring somewhere in the interior. just hack into (splice) the red/black (parking lights) wire and hook a switch up to it. voila. problem fixed.

I believe that would be your factory cigarette lighter plug, you could put a toggle switch between those 2 wires and make your lights work that way, but it's not really the right way. the parking light wire I'm refering to is under your steering column. it comes from the switch.
