electrical gremelin
recently my door chime and both dome lights on my 99 civic stopped working. thought it was a fuse but they are all ok. the cig socket works as i can still charge my phone, the dome lights do not come on even if i switch them to the on position. and yes the bulbs are ok. dont get power to em, my test light doesnt light up,.,..,,. any help would be great, thanks

i would say maybe its the switches in the door jams.. i had that problem for a little bit when i first put my compustar in... it didnt register the door was open because the switch in the door jam was bad... maybe check those

how do i go about doin that, checking the switches? even with the switch on the dome light in middle of roof in the on position there is no light could the door switches have something to do with that?

it wouldn't be a door ajar switch if the dome light doesn't come on with the dome switch in the on position. you don't have power at the switch wht/blu?
u checked fuse 3 7.5A underdash? It's supposed to be hot at all times (bat +)

when all goes wrong report to the schematic on your car. Did you use a volt ohm meter to check for open circuit, your problem is under the dash somewhere thats were the chime is..
