Default Smoking problem. Yo!

I was at work all day, I started my car and had 10 mins to finish something up at work. I go in my car to leave, started to see smoke outta the hood. I live literally a block from where I work, luckily! I came home and checked it out. I have a coolant leak, noticed by looking under the car. I checked the coolant resovoir it was a different color, I put in green coolant. Smoke was coming out from the Intake Mani, from back. I dont have much light. Any help or did I solve the problem due to leak?

hmm, it's possible you solved it, but I would definitely still look around the engine bay. was the vehicle overheating??

well, its def a coolant leak. when I popped the hood like the white dude from fast and furious, I only saw smoke coming from back of intake mani but too dark to check it out. and I checked the bottom of the motor, I see a small leak. Gotta check it out tomorrow to see where its comin from.

I just checked it out a few mins ago. There's a little hose thats not connecte but it has a clamp. Coolant was coming out from it, it was pointing down and thats where the puddle of coolant was at. Now im trying to find out what hose that is and why its not connected. I pulled a 6 hr trip to Columbus, never had problems. Maybe someone played a trick on me by removin the hose???

Update. Its the hose from the thermostat housing. The one that also has the upper radiator hose. I have it standing up so it doesn't leak but I am not trying to figure out WHERE it connects to. I've seen a diagram of a LS motor. It shows to connect the hose (the one thats leaking) under the intake manifold. There's 2 hoses on intake mani. One to throttle body and one that shows that connects to the hose Im trying to figure out. HOWEVER, I checked the hoses under the intake manifold and both are connected. SO! A b16 or bseries diagram would help if anyone has or know where it connects to or if I'm mistaken in anyway thanks

It sounds like the one that goes from the back of the motor to the throttle body

I assume you mean "lower" radiator hose. The upper radiator hose does not connect to the Thermostat Housing. Some diagrams below that might help you figure it out.

Na i'm sorry, I didn't mean the thermostat housing. I found out the hose came off cuz the clamp wasnt on. It was just plugged freely. So I put it in and now its good. However, on the Charcoal Cstir (spelt wrong but its the black thing on firewall) one of the small hoses isn't plugged and is chillin freely. Its the one thats right under or top of the onethat goes into the Intake Manifold. I will get photos tonight.
