Did some research, such a bitch to find out if I have ABS or LSD.. Anyone happen to know?

to findout if you have abs just pull your wheels off and look for a sensor...

NO and NO. if you have aABS there will be a control mudule and brake lines on the passenger side under the hood just behind the headlight. its big bulky and hard to miss. also just slam on the brakes and see if you slide.... pretty easy test.

 

You dont have ABS or an LSD, its a CX.

 

why the hell would your d15 come with a LSD?

 

Because he has the SPECIAL EDITION CX!. It came with the K20A LSD + transmission.

Well, the question has a pretty obvious answer, only because the 5th Gen CX NEVER CAME WITH EITHER. I mean, we are talking the pathetic base model - it barely had a steering wheel never mind fancy options like that. I can only think that the OP was joking.

BUT, regardless, someone's going to use the search button in the future and find this thread thin on useful information, so here goes:

ABS: Use above posters suggestions to look for sensors, etc. Even easier is to look for the "extra fuse box" under-hood near the main fuse box that houses ABS-only stuff. It's triangular in shape. You can't miss it if you have it so don't give yourself eyestrain if you can't find it. That means you don't have ABS.

LSD: Jack up both front wheels. Rolling one wheel forwards will roll the other forwards if you have LSD. Non-LSD transmissions will roll one backwards while the other goes forwards.

 

Not neccesarily. Many Helical style LSD's will exhibit this type of behavior as well.

Pulling an axle, and looking for a diff pin inside the trans (where the axle slides in) will be the foolproof method. No diff pin = LSD. No if's, and's, or but's.
