+1 on a better header. Also figure in a high flow cat and 2.5" or 3" exhaust in your build.

i was thinking about doing a 2.5 straight pipe all the way.. or do the apexi ws 2 with high flow cat to keep it a little quiet

The blox type c are the ones you are looking for. They have the same spec as the jun3.

I think you'd lose power with a WS2 but it would be quieter. If you get a custom 2.5 I'd strongly encourage you to put in a 2.5" high flow cat. On your setup it won't have an appreciable effect on hp vs. a test pipe and it'll be quieter and produce far less pollution.

what the hell. first off the skunk2 megapower is one of the best performing headers out there DONF in all motor tested it back to back more than once against hytech and a few others. second, the blox c's are similar but they are also blox. the endyn bumpstix are probably what you're thinking of. as a rule anything that comes out of endyn is quality.

if i were you i would:

1. ditch the blox VT for the matching VT from endyn
2. ditch the blox valves for ferrera or supertech
3. ditch the forged pistons for cast units if you want any kind of mileage from the motor. cp and mahle are probably your best all motor forged choices but not needed if you run pump gas compression. you can set the PWC much tighter cast, they really helps ring life and is easy on the cylinder.
4. ditch the rods, factory rods are good to around 400whp which you will never be near. have your rods resized if need be and use ARP bolts since you normally don't reuse rod bolts

the s300 has a few perks but isn't needed to tune correctly. the s100 will do it all when it comes to an all motor tune. if some of the extras of the s300 interest you, that's another story but there is a BIG cost difference.

the exhaust is your choice. headers like the hytech and skunk megapower are made for all out HP and don't allow a cat in the factory position. that being said if you want a factory style exhaust you could always use a JDM ITR 4-1, 2.5" high flow cat and whatever cat back suits you. the ws2 is somewhat restrictive compared to the annoying straight designs. if you're ever heard a buddy club cat back you'll know exactly what a cop magnet annoying thing small straight mufflers can be. greddy made one muffler called the DT that was kind of cool. it was quiet until you opened the bypass which let it go straight through. you might check out the greddy sp2 for another streetable volume choice.

before i go. when you start adding all this up you'll soon realize it's going to get expensive and that the stock JDM ITR or k20 might be worth considering before you get going.
