I was wondering if USDM indiglo gauges will work on a JDM cluster? Will they light up the same, even though the numbering is different locations? also, will the speed be correct? I wanna gonna get 1 of these following gauges, any help would be great.

your speedo wont be correct if your put those on a jdm cluster.

Dear lord - none of them, I would not pay a single red cent for any of that isht. I thought the era of riced out ugliness was over? Also, if you have the OEM JDM gauges (=$$), why would you want to cover/replace them with aftermarket junk?

If you insist on different gauges, talk to this guy - he did it right.

 

Waste of money and JDM cluster IMO....

well, the cluster i got is very dim, and put new bulbs in and still dim, and idk how to do the LED mod, so......

 

Stupid reason.....

Just take out the light filter at the top of the cluster, problem solved!!!!

At the top of the cluster is a bulb that lights up the front section of the cluster. There is a dark tinted plastic the light has to shine through before it reaches the gauges, just take it out. I have done this on many generations of civic clusters, including yours!

 

Jdm cluster = a lot money
All the money in the world cant buy class/style

 

It's pretty easy. And you can use any color you like.

Take out your dash.


Get some leds that work on 12 volts. I got these at auto zone. Three per pack. I forgot how many you need.



Cut them.

Strip the ends.

Bend the ends.

Stick it into the tabs.

Inside view. Also make sure you aim them straight

 

If they don't work turn them around. They only work one way.






Finished look. They work with the dimmer also. You can also stick more than one LED into the socket if desired.

yeah, checked AutoZone,Checker,Napa,Advanced AUto, NO LUCK ON LED bulbs only SUPER $$$$ LED Strips.

 

Why bother??? What i told you is free!

Also, it you better at the photo's of the modified one, you'll see the lighting is not even throughout, as well, it lights up green contamination "around" some of the stock gauges....doesn't look good to me at all.

 

The JDM CLUSTERS for 92-95 civics don't have that piece, only the USDM clusters do
