To start this off... Me and a buddy (with and EG) are doing a road trip up to california.... We live in Lake Elsinore California (socal) and we were thinking of going up to Yosemite and staying up ther for a few nights and hit up some of those brutal roads... an take some bad *** picks of our rides up ther... after that we were thinking of heading up to the bay area like San Fransisco... staying ther for a few nights and then heading down PCH and hit up all those citys... on our way back down...
The main reason why im writing this is to get some feed back.... and to see if we can get any post from people in those areas so they can let us know of good places to stay or bad *** roads to drive on... places to eat... and even good places to take photos of our cars... so help me out pleace your comments would be appreciated thanks -JUAN-

P.s we are even down to hit up some of your guys honda meets is you guys have any during those weeks that we do this...

 

sounds like a good plan but this is just the tech forum...you might get better results by posting this in the regional community forums in the northern and southern california section...!!!

What base maintenance to keep me safe on the road, without being stranded on the side of the road?

My EF - 91 hatchie DX model 5 speed, stock motor D15 with 2 injectors and almost 300k miles in the odometer <- still run like champ.

I driven couple times, 3000 miles away with diff car LA to NY then NY to LA again.
This time I want to try EF civic, well?

BiG ChOr!Zo you are killing them with kindness, LOL. I just got back from Sonoma/Napa counties, I highly recommend checking those out and hitting the wine tours. Plenty of photo ops.
