fogs drained battery.
so my battery died yesterday after driving around with the fogs on,i hook them up directly to the corner light but i didn't put a relay in between the corner light and fogs,is that why my battery died?
so today i took the battery to autozone to get it fully charge and i installed the relay, after a few times of turning the car and off and leaving the fogs on for a while, the car is doing fine.
so my question is,does the relay really keep the battery from draining?

I've taken a couple electronics courses, so I think I know what I'm talking about, but I could be wrong...
A relay is simply a switch that is controlled by the voltage/current rather than a human operator (you)... so I THINK when you turn the switch enough power goes to the relay, causing it to actually power your lights (turn on), without the relay, you don't have that switch there, so it's just shorting your battery to ground, even when "off"
hopefully that makes sense

Relay or lack thereof has nothing to do with your battery going dead. Being baller and leaving your parking lights and fogs on while your car is off is what causes this. If you did not do that, you have a bad battery or alternator. My money is on you leaving your lights on; Honda batteries don't last very long with the engine not running.
