weird brake problem.
hey guys. i have a crx that i'm trying to prepare for a track day next month. i got some brand new rotors and some new Hawk HP+ pads and installed them the other day at the same time. i went through the procedure of bedding the pads...but i may not have let them cool enough between stops.
the problem is that the pads constantly sound like theyre dragging on the rotors on both sides...but when i stop the car..i can push it easily.so it can't be that bad. i'm just wondering why theyre being so noisy when i don't even have my foot down on the pedal. i figured it would go away by now..but its been close to 50 miles already and it's not getting any better.

ok...nevermind. i figured it out. it was the dust shields! the new rotors were a lot thicker than my old ones i guess. so they were rubbing. i took em off...now everything's smooth as glass. pads arent even sqeaky!
