alrite when i go up a dip to get gas or something and im on the brakes i hear this noise. and my brakes feel like there loose or not locking up on my foot....can this be bad installtion of the brakes? rotors?

 

is it a knocking sound?

 

it feels like its scraping and you can feel the pedal not really grab.

 

are they new brake pads?

 

i bought them a while ago...like 3+ months already

 

have you already checked to make sure that everything is tight?

 

same problem here, are you rotors rusting at all along the outside? I replace pads and rotors, and it still was happening, feeling a weak brake that is. turns out my calipers went bad and I learned that is VERY common in older 4gen ludes.

mine is a 5th gen...rotors are rusty....and they are scratched..but i doubt they would cause that..

 

Are these stock pads? if they are performace pads, like hawk pads, they make this grind metal on metal sound, just the way they are..
