Default no bov,no gauge

ok i have a stock b16a with a t3/t4 turbo kit. i have everything hooked up, turbo spins, no oil leaks, and i drove it about 1/2 mile and runs great. i have the wastegate vac line 2 my turbo compressor, i have the bov vac T'ed 2 the middle port on the intake mani, and i have the gauge T'ed on the vac port all the way to the right on underside on the intake mani. the bov is not leting the air out so i took it off and pushed the valve it works. what could make the bov not let out the built up air in the piping? 2nd why would the gauge not read boost? it didnt read boost even when i drove it and i could tell it was building boost? but when i blow into the gauge with my mouth itll go up. please help guys i wana tear up the streets asap lol.

You didn't, by any chance, left the PCV valve there and plugged the BOV/Gauge into the PCV??

naw. i found my problem with the gauge, it was bad, bought a new 1 and im reading correct vacume, and .5bar boost.
now on 2 the bov its connected 2 the center vac line on the b16 intake manifold alone, and still nothing. just making me compressor surge

ok i was just working on the bov. i took the inner spring out installed it and it would wistle all the time as if it were letting air out constant. i put the inner spring back in and the valve is 2 stiff wont alow the air 2 be released. or woshhh.
vac is good, i cleaned up the bov but im so confussed.
