I am sponsoring the fastest FWD car competition at Greer Dragway!

Date: Thursday, 11/19/2009
Time: Test & Tune from 6-10 pm (competition at approximately 8:00 pm)
Place: Greer Dragway, Greer, South Carolina

The track only charges $7 per person to enter and run all night. The competition does not cost extra. All you need is a fast car, a helmet, and a seat belt.

Directions can be found on the track's web site: www.greerdragway.com.

You can run anything: all-motor, turbo, supercharger, nitrous. Slicks, one piece front-ends, open exhausts; all are fine. Cars running faster than a 7.50 will need a roll-cage. You can run Test & Tune all night and at approximately 8:00 pm, you will get one shot at the $200.

I will be there for sure Ronald, just wish I had something capable of competing in this! I will spread the word throughout the week and try to help get as big of a turn out as possible.

We had a great turn-out: tons of great looking and fast Hondas, several really nice Nissans, a couple of DSM's, and a few SRT-4's. It was the best import/fwd showing I have seen at Greer in a very long time.

Shane - your 7.20 passes were awesome to watch, congratulations on taking the $200 and thanks for bringing your fast CRX out to play.

Jonathan - what a great job, taking a second and a half of your previous best time, boosting for the first time.

Nathan - congratulations on running your first 7.90's on drag radials

Justin - sorry that the slicks did not work out, keep running the car, you have a great CRX

Green Hatch - you are always fast, what a great runner-up showing in your turbo Hatch

To everyone else that came out, Philip, Thai and the 1320 C-Seng crew, BJ, Derrick, Travis, Jonathan, DJ, Michael, Ben, Bobby, Miguel, Alex, Roger, Will, the Import Hot Rod Garage crew, and many more. I enjoyed talking to all of you and I can't wait for next season to start.

Greer Dragway will have an all concrete surface after the winter break!!!!!

Stay tuned, with these kind of turn-outs, I would love to put together a real race, with qualifying and elimination rounds and more money at stake. Let me know if you like that idea.
