B16A - Borg Warner S200 - Pump Gas Dyno Tune
Richard came to us from Charleston for a complete partial throttle / WOT tune. This car pulls hard.
B16A
Borg Warner S200 (50 trim / 1.10 a/r) From a John Deere Tractor
Eagle H Rod
Wiseco 8.8:1 pistons
.078 cometic headgasket (brings compression closer to 8:1)
ARP Main Bolts
ARP Head Sutds
Block guard
3" Aluminum Piping
4" Side Exit "downpipe"
750CC RC Injectors
Walboro 255
Hondata S300
Pump 93 octane
21-21.5 psi
This setup easily has another 15-20whp with a tad more timing. Customer wanted a conservative map so that's what we gave him.

Car is clean but that setup is ehh. 8:1 com and a JY turbo wit a 1.10 ar eww. Powerband looks horrible and 21 psi for 1.3k worth of 300h+ Not feeling it.

LOL.... Yeah guys, the turbo is not a good match for the motor. I'm sure the customer knows that. It's either change the turbo or build the head and rev it to 10K. Richard is a college student so you know how that goes. Regardless, he's happy with what he has.
Yes, the thick headgasket is a factor due to the really low compression but at the end, it probably wouldn't of made much of a difference just because the a/r ratio is so damn oversized for this motor.

My friend called me saying "dude there is a blue car like yours that is loud as **** making me think my car is falling apart" and i have yet to see this thing.
So are you saying he drives it around with just the cow-catcher, and no bumper facia of any kind? If so, that's pretty interesting. . . I don't think I'd have the ballz for that, it kind of seems like asking for all of the wrong type of attention.
With that low of compression and the turbo spooling that late, this must be a very safe setup. I too would like to see what could happen if he could find a smaller a/r exhaust housing to try, or just rev it up some more.
