ok am seeing jdm h22's selling for 720$ on ebay, please tell my why I should spend 3600 for a built one when 350hp is the safe for pump gas and the stock h can produce.

 

i cant tell you why.... because i dont know... lol i obviosly drive a stock boosted h22 on 10 psi and make 345whp... only problem im havin is my clutch slippin and ive been driving it some what hard for about a year now... yes the cylinder walls are weak and so are the ring lands but its all in the tune... ive just purchased a water meth kit and will be turning the boost up a lil bit ill post results

 

100% stock h22, 367whp 11psi, lasted 5 months before spun a bearing and broke the rod.
same, 321,7whp 11psi(ebay crap) lasted two years.. customer decided to sell the car, havent heard anything since..

Yes the motor is 100% stock internal longblock.....It has had a little over 17k miles put on it since it was turboed....T67 with a .82 back side on 11.3 psi.....E85.....We hope to reset the stock block record on this motor.....

There is a guy around here that has a stock H22.
He make like 550 or something like that.
Now it may not be a "stock" engine.
I do know the block and head are stock.
I think he built his own I/M.

 

Mine made 298 with a T3/T04E at 10psi and lasted about 2 years. Then the ringlands decided to fall off the pistons. Stupid ringlands.
