Mini-me low end sputter?
Kay, so heres the story.
car is a 91 civic, d15b7 bottom end, y8 head.
So the car was throwing a code 43. And would run a bit sketch when you came to a stop. It would idle way down, then catch itself. And it wouldnt respond to throttle at all when it did that. I started some searching online, and came to a similair problem alot of people were having, and it was the o2 sensor. So i went out tonight, bought a new o2 sensor. Install it, all the sudden the car is throwing a code 43 still, a code for the heated o2 sensor circuit, and a code for the vtec solenoid. Ive had vtec solenoid problems before, so that doesnt surprise me. However the o2 heater circuit did. This is when the car began sputtering. It only does it if you give it more than 40% throttle, and only up until about 2500 rpm. I switched back to the old o2 sensor, nothing changed. And i completely unplugged the o2 sensor, and it still does it. So its not actually o2 sensor related, i dont think. Wiring maybe....idk. Any suggestions? I got new plug wires tonight, they had a lifetime warranty. I also switched out plugs. that didnt change anything either. Dizzy cap and rotor maybe? But the codes...hmmm. Help?

For sputtering-
improper timing advance is likely.
bad dizzy is possible.
bad fuel pressure or injectors possibly
Inconsistent Idle-
Search "Idling woes solved"
You should have an electronic Idle Air Control Valve (or something like that) that may not be functioning properly, effectively choking the engine at idle.
