I am looking to relocate my battery in my EK, reason being I bought a T1 catch can and I need the current battery space for it. I am looking into the small replacement batteries like Odyssey & Kinetik. Can I see some pics or ideas as to where others have mounted yours.

mine is right in front of my tranny mount. i am putting a full soze stock battery under the bumper on the left side next season. the one i have has barely enough cca's. i need a battery with some ***. i have been getting away with it. and i think one day it will come back and bite me in the ***. but here is where i mounted it:

never mind the couplers, and the tape, this was 2 years ago and the plumbing is all welded out.
it is on an eg, but you should be able to fit a bettery in the same place.
BUT are you dragging the car or road racing?
if you are rr the car, it may be beneficial to put it on the rear instead. but remember it has to be in a sealed box. and for dragging, it has to have a kill switch if it is not in the stock location.

Here is what I did. I don't plan on tracking my car but I think this is a good place regardless. I also relocated the engine bay fuse-box there too, because I am going with a wire tuck and shaved bay. Lots of plastic welding but not that hard really.
