"Dohc" is bigger than "Vtec", the electrical connectors are a different colour, ( not sure which is which". You can also tell if it came out of a CRX SiR or Integra X-Si/R-SI by identifying the code that is around or below "B16" if it starts with 5 million, I believe you have an SiR engine. 1 million and it's an Integra model. Also, if you have an S1 transmission with it, chances are it's an Integra... that's what the S1 tranny came in over there.

You can also check the year of your engine. Its stamped in a circle right above the header. It will only have the last two digits ie (90) If its below 93 its definately jdm.
In most cases the stamp will be one year earlier than the car it came out of.

If you had a 92 5 million its jdm
93 4 million would be US

Is there any advantage of one over the other? Or are they identical?
