This is the one I am using when i shaved my antenna hole...just run it through your A pillar and stick it on the top of your front windshield. Works like a charm, I pick up very clear fm/am signal when I am using my radio

The connector on the antenna looks like this and plugged right into my aftermarket radio...

I don't remember what stock was but fairly certain it was the same connection type...the other is just a wire to amplify the signal even more...as in you connect the wire to a 12 volt source, such as the power or ignition to your radio.

yes the one behind the radio only. their is that plug pictures above and just a simple wire. And no you don't need to get anything else, the other "sticks" it shows are adapters for cars that have a different antenna plug on the radio.

Once you plug the antenna in to your radio, you run it up through your A pillar and then stick it on your windshield (comes with 3m double sided tape already attached to the lil rectangular box looking thing) this way it is out of the way and barely noticable and able to receive a good signal

I also filled in the groove that goes along the entire top of the roof near the edge, as well as the antenna hole...so your's may still look a little different.

Yea I ran mine on the passenger side though, poked it through where your headliner and A pillar ends at the top and then stuck it on the windshield. you could probably get away leaving it under your dash somewhere but may not receive as good a signal.
