Default My WCF Disaster Weekend

Well, first of all props to the entire MIR staff for an excellent race weekend!

After an entire season of problems (clutch, blown tranny, axles, etc.) I was really hoping to see my first 10 second pass this weekend.

The car went 11.3x with a single disc clutch and 750cc injectors on 15lbs of boost on pump 93 oct. After switching to an LSD and after upgrading to Injector Dynamics 1000s, Exedy twin disc, and getting a retune on 24lbs and Q16 I thought for sure it would be no problem.

Qualifying pass 1- No boost at all due to the VSS being unplugged 15.9x (my idiot fault)
Qualifying pass 2- Set the boost to 22 lbs. Flatfaced in 3rd due to boost creep and hitting boost cut 13.5xx
Qualifying pass 3- Turned the boost down to 20 lbs, hit boost cut in third again (?)

ET time run 1- Broken drivers side axle
ET time run 2- After my burnout the car dumped about a gallon of Q16 on the starting line because the #3 injector spit the o-ring out the side

I had a great time seeing everyone set their personal bests this weekend and seeing all the big names and upcoming big names it gives me the push to keep trying so maybe one day I'll be in their shoes.

to everyone for a great weekend! Just thought I'd share my story

Thanks for all those who helped me: Steve at Import Sports, Joe Simpson, Felix from T1, and My friends Stevo, Matt, and John for helping out in the pits. And my wife for letting me continue to spend money!
