D15B7: Turbonetics T3/T4 5 psi - Pump Gas & E85 Dyno Tune
This car belongs to Avery. We tuned it today.
It's a bone stock D15b7 with 178,000 miles. Stock head gasket, stock head studs, nothing but a new timing belt. Avery wanted to tune at low boost until his built engine goes in.

Turbonetics T3/T4, Tial 38mm, Tial BOV, Back door intercooler, Precision 1000cc. Tuned off wastegate pressure with boost constantly fluctuating between 4.4 and 5.1psi.

93oct vs E85 @ 4.8psi.

*********EDIT 11-26-09*************
9.1 psi on E85. This is from earlier this morning. Avery was bored, so was I and the turkey(s) were still cooking so why not a little more boost in the mean time.

Yes sir.. Funny part is, it's the stock clutch that came with the car. It was slipping on the dyno a bit so it probably has more power in it.
LOL...... 5psi and 1000cc injectors. New clutch is going in next week. We are going to do an E85 tune just for comparison purposes................ and because it's fun... LOL.

Update on 1st post. New Comp Stage 4 clutch installed and just tuned it on E85 just to compare and have some fun with it.
60-1 journal bearing turbo. Not sure what the a/r size is. Sorry about the late response, I didn't receive an e-mail notification.
Update on 1st post. 9.1 psi.

The following is a quote from D-series.org where we also post. Just thought some of you guys may have been wondering about the same thing.
Excellent observation.
This particular setup has an open downpipe. As a result, exhaust gas flows by so quickly that the wideband has little time to analyze the a/f ratios and thus reflect a linear mixture than what it actually is. Usually anywhere between .5-.8 leaner on average.

Lol, awsome post. Next time anyone says a mild b-series swap is a better value, or even faster, they're getting this thread shoved up their JDM ***.
Well. I have some news. Avery had a good offer and sold his Del Sol and semi built motor. No worries. The buyer is going to finish the build and boost it. Avery is now working on a 12.5:1 compression, GSR w/ E85 & nitrous. Should be fun.
