Default Catch Can Advice

I searched for an hour and couldn't find what I need. I need a catch can for my 500whp build. Will a simple greddy catch can with 2 fittings on the top work? Or will I need to go with one with a filter to relieve more crank case pressure?

for 500whp you should be looking at something like tony1's

endyn. @ www.theoldone.com or moroso @ www.sumitracing.com, or B&R sponsor on here. I personally use a T1 but B&R makes the same one cheaper.

Thanks for the links. When getting emissions tested, do you think removing the stock PCV system will cause me problems?

for your budget, the endyn setup works well. but it has its limitations.
the t1 setup is the cats ***.

as far as passing emmissions, it will probably run better but it depends on your state laws.

All depends on where you live.... tell us I'm sure others will tell you... you might also want to search for your state's name in the thread title and see what comes up... chances are there's an emissions thread somewhere...

If you only want to spend about 250. I'd really recomend getting the T1 can only... then just use barbed fittings on the valvecover and run normal automotive hose instead of a/n and braided steel hose.

I live in Colorado so the emissions aren't as bad as California. Anyone have experience with this one? It's a B & R kit, Its $290 for everything shown:

That would work great for your setup. 2 valve cover ports and 1 block port/drain back. Also B&R has great customer service, ive ordered from him twice now.

i basically run that same kit except i added another fitting to the can so i could run both rear block ports. probably not needed but the more the better. also i run rubber lines/barb fittings for the block ports but stainless/an lines for the valve cover

Sweet. I'd like the bigger one but its $500 like T1's. This will be better than the stock PCV system Ive been running lol. Do you happen to have a picture of where the drain goes back into the block? If there are two open ports on the back of my B18C, does it matter which one I use? Any reason why you used rubber lines?

either of the two ports can be used. once you remove the balck box there will be a port behind it. use that one since its closer.

i used aeroquip push lock fittings and hose purely because its cheaper. my valve cover lines pretty much lay on the turbo mani do i used stainless there
