Default Fuel pump/harness issue h22 eg

Ok so my car was running.... i pulled the harness and sodered some wires that were just butspliced. i put the harness back in and now my fuel pump wont prime. i wanted to see what CEL i was throwing so i completed the circut by the ECU and the check light wont flash... im thinkin somethin in the harness would be causeing both these issues. Any help would be greatly apreciated

check the fuel pump fuse and go from there, im sure the relay is still good. double check which wires you soldered and make sure all grounds are grounded.

im sure he disconnected the battery before he did the splicing. thats just common sense. i would test the relays if the starter signal fuse is good. get a multi meter out start at the fuel pump and work your way back to the relays. then test before the relays just to make sure the power is going through the relay. if voltage checks out to the fuel pump then you might have a bad fuel pump motor

Inexperience (not saying that you are) can lead to 'common sense' errors. Sometimes people simply forget to do it.

I also agree, you need to get a multimeter and start from the fuel pump and work your way back.
