It's not too bad a job to pull and reinstall the harness really.
The PITA is dealing with all the carpet and firewall insulation.
Also if you need to replace the dash harness, it includes all the wires under the hood ie headlights, turn signals, wiper motor and HVAC.

There are different harnesses for our cars.
1. Engine harness
2. Under dash (cluster, radio, clock & climate control)
3. Cabin harness (fuel pump, tail lights)
4. Main harness (ecu, head lights, wiper motors under dash fuse box)
5. A/c harness
6. Door harnesses

to get to the headlight harness you will have to get the ecu harness

Is it all in one or is it pieces that can be disconnected because I need to take out the part that goes to the ecu and headlights but last time I took one out it was one whole thing. Not different ones it was headlights, fusebox,Heater and climate control, all that harness ran to the rear of the car to the tail lights or am I wrong.I cut mines at the door so im not sure if it ran to the taillights but im 95% sure it does.

If I only need the headlight harness can I cut it under the hood and wire just that part of the harness instead of buying a bunch of garbage I don't need? My drivers side headlight caught on fire and roasted the wiring.

Yes! It is possible to repair a main body harness from under the hood instead of replacing from under dash, I spliced each wire and used but connectors and shrink wrapped, performed a little crimp action, and boom saved myself 500 bucks at Honda. Looks a little intimidating at first but just pay close attention to the wire colors and markings. Good luck but hope no one has to go through that.
