diesel performance muffler on our cars?

diesel performance muffler on our cars?
i'm pricing up mufflers for a new street exhaust, and i want to go 4''. i'm seeing many used diesel mufflers, and wondering if there is any difference between a regular muffler and a diesel one. pics look the same (perforated full-flow core, etc)
anybody know about this? magnaflow's site lists diesel-specific part numbers.. i cant imagine much of a difference.

The Magnaflows are pretty sweet. They are just like any other high flow muffler....
I used a 3.5" I/O muffler on my car. I believe it was 6" long.... Sounded awesome....
