theres no good ride height..its what you want it to be. the function and form can go very low if you want...but you'll need camber kit or at least an alignment.

like what he said up there. there is certain ride height it's just on you. most people like to drop 2.5 inches in the front and 2.25 in the back.

I've seen some of my buddy's tucking tire on the Type 1's. You will need an alignment and maybe a camber kit if your really slammed.

Adjust it to your liking. Just make sure the suspension is even with eachother in front and in back. The kit comes with a tape measure that will help you out a lot.

alignment-yes def recommended
camber kit-not necessary

if you dont like the look of negative camber or dont want to replace tires every so often, then get one. i have quite a bit of negative camber up front but i dont want to buy a camber kit because i like the look. tires do not wear horribly. and toe is what eats the tires away...which an alignment will fix. just get an alignment after you install them then decide on the camber kit.

Good luck trying to not tuck tire with the F2 Type 1s. Camber should be set for performance not how cool it looks. Then again, the F2s are pretty much for looks only...and I do know from experience as I have a set on my car now. Personally I think they are the WORST coilover or shock/spring combo I have ever owned.....and I've been through quite a few at this point. Even the cut springs on stock, blown shocks were probably better. I'll give them that they are pretty decent in the quality materials (come with top hats, height adjustable, etc), but the dampening and ride height range is just complete crap which is the only thing that really matters when they are on the car. Then again, they are catering to their clients at this point....as long as you want your car slammed to the ground and dont care about the spring rates/dampening/performance at all....which is most from what I've seen recently.

They must have changed at some point or something because I have mine jacked as high as they will go in the rear and it's still tucking tire. Funny because the front is only about mid-ways and is slightly higher. Maybe time to take them off/apart and make sure somebody didnt get the front/rear shocks mixed up or something.....though I could've sworn they were the same shock body F/R.
