The guy I just bought my car from was about that tall, however he was not 300 pounds.

If you're pretty wide you'll probably have some issues, especially considering how low you are when you get in compared to other Honda. May be a bitch to get out of, especially if you aren't keeping stock height.

One of my friends is over 6ft, and he hates driving my Civic. These are Japanese cars, they're made for little people.

thanks for the replies guys. i guess my next question is, is it much of a different fit from a eg hatch? kind of a picky question but if its like sitting in a eg hatch or a little worse i could deal with it. other than that im just going to check it out when ever i can.

eg hatch would probably be a little easier on you. I knew a guy 6'7'' and he had a crx, it looked like a gorilla in a cage when he was in it. when he got out he just unfolded and unfolded and unfolded, he didnt keep the car long, wonder why??

i had an EG hatch, now i have a del sol. im not a big guy im only 5'8 145lbs, but at times its even hard for me to get out of the sol, because of how low the car sits plus i dropped it pretty low. when i get into the car sometimes i have to just drop myself lol, so i guess it all depends on how low your gonna drop it ?

im 6' 2" 230 and i didnt like having stock seats in my civic. when i got new seats i made the mounts sit lower for more head room. i also know a guy whos about your size who drives a s2k and does fine. just lay the seat back a bit.

this is definitely helping my decision. im not too worried about the getting in and out issue. i have a malibu and the sub frames an inch and a quarter off the ground. and its my daily driver so if its a little worse i should be ok. but the del sol im sure ill be dropping it pretty low over time lol depending on what suspension is on it now. i should be checking it out soon. ill let you know my decision soon. thanks for all the help guys i appreciate it.

to add to what i was saying, i have a homie whos 6'3, prob about 280-300 pounds, and i have corbeau reclinable seats in my car. well when he gets in he doesnt really have much room to move around, he'll roll with me to meets but he personally told me he would never get a dol sol due to his size. but either way let us know if you do end up getting the sol ! its my favorite car for sure, it feels like a go-kart in the freeways lol

yeah it might also be because of the seats. i know there not very wide. one of my main concerns is my leg hitting the steering wheel when letting the clutch out.

i had a 6'2" friend and he hates my del sol, he is also around 300-350 and he needed to move his leg "excess" to allow me to put down the e-brake, i wouldn't suggest it, even though they are imo the best car.

im going to see soon i really want it. but thats the only thing thats going to hold me back is fitting in it. if its just the steering wheel im still buying it. ill swap steering wheels out. but if its other things too i might not be able to get it. hopefully i can though.

My dad's 6'4" and about 280-300 and says (other than getting in and out) my EK is very comfortable, but it's bigger than a sol (obviously)

integra seats sit pretty low, I definitely have more headroom after putting them in

Yeah i mean if there is a modification i can do that doesn't involve tearing the whole car apart that will help me fit im going to try and do it. because id really like to have this car. If swapping seats maybe modding the seat rails or something and getting a smaller steering wheel im going to do it.

6' 3" 265..... I love the fit of Del Sol. With the seat all the way back it is great!!

With stock seats the Sol is surprisingly reasonable for larger people. I dont fit in a S2000, but my Sol fits me great.

Im bout 5'10" 250 I fit good in my Del Sol, my friend is 6'5" 230 his head sticks out the roof like the Flintstones he has to recline the seat if the top is on. Its just not built for people over 6 foot.
