hello iam wanting to do a mini me swapon my 1990 crx dx i have a donor 94 civic with the d16z6 in it and i was wondering what i will need to pull off the civic to make it work and what after market parts am i going to need thanks

if you have the whole z6 why not just swap the whole thing in?

 

mini me pushes more horse power than a z6. and has better compression.

 

the piston rings are gone in the motor and if i was going to do a swap like that i would prolly go with a b series witch i still may do cant decide maybe at a later date would the mini me be a better option for boost as well seein as it has better compression?

 

no. mini me motors have 10:1 or 11:1 compression. stock. better for na setups. 10:1 with z6 head.
around 11:1 with y8 head. stock.

i have a 91 crx si, with a y8 all motor and the compression ratio is like 12.5:1, with p29 pistons, P28 ecu, and port and polish head.
