why do all headers that make good power have steps in them.. i know that it makes power but why.. if you are running 1.75/1.875/2 for your primary why not just 2inch all the way. i just dont understand and was hoping someone could explain why this works. thanks!

Google "Exhaust Scavenging and Energy Waves" There are tons of articles related to exhaust tuning that have been written by credible engineers. 9 times out of 10 all your going to get posted here is paraphrased information from those articles anyway.

 

ill give a small hint with just using the letter c and the shift key but read it from right to left, not left to right pretend the c is the exaughst waves leaving the header ... i know this is not the best way to explain but it might help grasp a small concept of it
