Default Anyone know exactly which parts are used for VTEC conversions?

I'm trying to find exactly which parts are used in VTEC conversions on ECUs. All I can find are kits with pictures too blurry to decipher which resistors and capacitors they use.

What version main board do you have? 1720 - 110F - 1980

USDM 1720
Q26 D1423 NPN Transistor
C60 1uF Capacitor
IC14 SK5151 High Side Switch (OEM SK5050 works)
J10 - 0 Ohm resistor aka Jumper
R67 820 Ohm Resistor
D11 1n4002 Clamping Diode

RM11 replacement
Pin 1-2 - 10k Resistor
Pin 2-3 - 51k Resistor
Pin 3-8 - 12k Resistor

USDM 11F0
C60 - 1uF Capacitor
J10 - 0 Ohm resistor aka Jumper
Q101 - NTE2368 Transistor
R201 - 10K Ohm Resistor
IC14 - SK5151 High Side Switch (OEM SK5050 works)
D11 1N4002 Clamping Diode

I love you man. Isn't there a 3rd board though? the 1980, the P75. I would assume the high side switch, diode and capacitor at C60 are the same as the other two boards, but C94 appears to be another capacitor?

I looked it up on my own and C94 appears to be a 4.7uf capacitor. the other parts are the same

OR, there's a shorter list on PGMFI for the 1980 board

C60: 1uf 35V tantlum
D11: 600V 1AM diode
IC14: SK5151S
J10: 0hm resistor/jumper
R142: 10k ohm resistor
R143: 45k ohm resistor (51k ohm is the recommended resistor)
R144: 12k ohm resistor (Can use 10k here)
Q26: C2785/C2458Y tranistor
Q37: C2785/C2458Y tranistor

Removed:
RP17: 0hm resistor
J4: 0hm resistor

I have the 1980 board listed up there in my post. I figured that I would spoon feed you two of the three parts lists. Then you could go out and find the third on your own.

Maybe you could post the list of parts that you found for the 1890 board to help anyone else that may have the same question that you had. After all this is a forum were people share there information, although most people seem to take and don't do much sharing.

Cheers

I didn't see it, but I agree with what you are saying. A lot of stuff can be found, but sometimes it's just figure out what words to search for to find it. I try to help other people here and when I have some sort of interesting discovery, I post it. The last thing was an easy way of getting trailing arm bushings out.

The SK5050 will work on older style ecus (the ones where you need RM11). The newer style ecus u need to use the SK5151's. if u install the SK5050's, it will activate VTEC for the first time but as soon as it does it will throw a CEL for vtec.
