So here is my issue... I have no grinds in my transmission (b series cable)... No low or high rpm grinds 1st-5th. HOWEVER, I do have a grind in reverse. Now it will only grind when at a stop, clutch depressed, and going straight to reverse. But if I shift to another gear first, THEN to reverse, it will not happen. What is the cause of this? It used to do it very subtle, but has become a full on grind as if I am trying to shift without having the clutch down.
Thanks for the help!

Teeth on reverse idler gear and/or teeth on 1-2 synchro sleeve for reverse are rounded too much for decent use. Keep shifting into a forward gear like you've been doing to help it.
Pretty much every standard is like that. If you read the owners manual it will even tell you to either shift to a forward gear first or wait for a moment after depressing the clutch to shift into reverse to allow time for the gears to stop moving. Just leave it as it is.
Exactly what I said could be rounded. Reverse idler and/or 1-2 synchro sleeve. Synchro sleeve and hub SHOULD be replaced together though. So it's not really worth it to do unless you really, really hate putting it into a forward gear first before trying to select reverse. lol I'd personally let it be unless it's grinds no matter what or just doesn't go into reverse.
