i have an 88 crx and i have an ls in it with a b16 tranny and also it has the b16 shift linkage but its wobbly and and i dont know how to fix it.. what can i do to keep it tight and stiff please help its driving me nuts thanks

I'd look at replacing your shifter bushing then, it's like a 6 buck part. For even tighter then stock ES bushing company offers one.

i have the same problem, its my bushing that goes around the ball of the linkage, called a ball seat or something. ive already replaced every other bushing. i just need to find that bushing it seems to be hard to find

54110-sh3-003 Just picked mine up from acura. Ive got the same problem you cant tell what gears im in. I picked up a brand new avid linkage and ES bushings as well. The joint where the linkage attaches to the trans is prob worn out (part of my problem, not to mention mine is bent where the shifter bolts too)

funny part was i was getting ready to go install all this, and i just found out my head gaskets going (in under 3k miles) so im waiting till i put the new motor in.
