Who's breaking in motors with turbo attached ?
Everybody does, but that doesn't mean everybody's oil system and/or engine build is up to par.
I've seen some terrible machine work and builds and both can lead to additional crap in the oil.

Turbos rarely fall apart for no reason and when a turbo fails due to an oil problem, it's usually very clear when diagnosing it. While it's clear it's oil related, it's not always clear whether it was a result of lack of pressure or contaminated oil. Further inspection can help point to the actual oil problem, but at first glance, I can definitely see thinking it could be a pressure problem, especially if i'd heard it was a fresh motor.
I put mine straight on the dyno..
Funny thing, I shiiitttt my 372 on the dyno and they said debris got in it,( I was on a dyno in a enclosed building.)
made me and the tuner wonder if it was screwed up from the factory. It was only 250$ to fix but, yeah..

Debis in the oil system or debris in the compressor? Either way, being in an enclosed dyno room wouldn't make a difference. Can't have an enclosed dyno room with fresh air coming in or the car wouldn't run too long.

It was in the compressor and they have a ventalation system that takes out all the exhaust and pumps in fresh air with all the doors closed. I have a pic of the room. I had a jacket on in the dyno room and I live in GA..
i questioned why he deleted all his posts....
but to the OP question
what else do you think forces the piston down to break in those rings?
