Default Is this worth it?

My friend broke my jack the other day when installing my header and that just makes me want to take out my jack, spare, and lug nut tools. How much do you they that all weights and would you recommend it (will there be a significant weight difference? Thanks!

31 lbs or so. Nothing to be sneezed at.

Well being a daily driver like my self, I would keep that in the car, 'cause you never know when you might get a flat. That would suck getting a falt in L.A. traffic. But that's just my situation.

i'd rather not pay for a tow truck to come out there to save a measly 30 lbs. just go on a diet if you're that damn lazy.

Thats what AAA is for. The call is free, along with the tow

I do however carry my spare as my car is a four door hence it is heavy. What difference is 31lb's going to make to me. In my civic, i never carried a spare.

It's not worth it, it's not like it's going to make your car any faster. Trust me, you don't want to be stuck somewhere with a flat, and nothing to change it with.

If my wife is in town, no spare as I can call here to bring it to me If she is out of town or I'm driving some where out of a 15 mile range, spare is in the car.
Back up is AAA or Acura towing that comes with the warranty.

I carry an 18 lb. hydraulic siccsors jack in my trunk, in addition to the spare and a socket set. I love saving weight, but I'd rather not be without that stuff.

The NSX Type R replaces the Spare Tire and Jack with a bottle of that tire hole fixing ****.

I drive w/o my spare tire and jack. I took it out to go to the dragway and I haven't bothered to put it back in. I have Triple A so that discourages me even more to put the ~31 lbs of dead weight into my car. Oh well, maybe when I get a flat I'll learn my lesson.

I agree. I know the last time I ad a flat, I was thankful I had the spare. I can't stand to wait the 1 hour + to wait for roadside.
