So ive been browsing around the internet trying to find what I think will be a suitable projector headlamp housing to do a HID retrofit into. Ive seen the TYC 1 pieces and feel they are just ugly. The other problem is that all the aftermarket 2 piece headlamps seem to be the stupid halo type lights.

So it almost appears that I would need to use the stock headlight plastics and deflute them.

Has any one had any experience with these housings?

 

IMO, if you're going to do a retrofit, using the OEM housings would be best, cause then you can use whatever room you have instead of being limited to the amount of space you have if you were to buy projector headlight and replace them with real HID projectors....
