How do i get rid of that annoying TOOOONG noise anytime i open my door?? Any way to fix it or how do i remove it?

is your spring bad or is it the door pin?if the hole around the pin is loose it will make noise.if the spring is messed up you can actually just change that.i think it's held in by 2 bolts.i might have a few extras from a parts car i will look if you need them let meknow.

 

how can i tell which part is broken? when i open the door, the pin part snaps back making the noise.

 

my pin moves also causing it to toooonng

 

th pin is supposed to not move.most of the time the whole gtes worn out on our cars.very common problem.i am gonna try to say if a machniist can make mea sleever to help fix this problem.if it works maybe i'll sell them cheap for everbody.

 

Both my doors made an awlful poping noise when you opened them. I welded the part that was moving and it fixed the problem. Then painted over the weld.

 

Every Honda I've Owned...the Doors always Attacked me. How do you stop that?

but seriously, about that Toooong noise....if you look at the door sill, you can see the "L shaped door open sensor". when you put the sensor in the closed position, there should be a screw you see...just loosen that screw a little bit to stop that thing from popping up......NO MORE TOOOONG
