I was stripping my tan interior today in my 98 and when I went back to put in the black passenger back panel that goes from the back seat to the trunk...IT DIDN'T FIT!
I noticed that on the tan panel that was in there had a piece cut out that looked like someone did them selves in order to have the panel fit.
Does anyone know what I am talking about? The panel is from a 96 and i'm putting it into a 98. Maybe any body alterations between the generations?

Yes I had the same problem. That black metal brace on the floor apparently isn't in every model integra. I just used a dremel to shave the new panel down. It fit good and you couldn't see the cuts. Hope that helps.

Yeah it was out of a 96...I didn't think there was much of a difference. Is there anything else I should know about before going deeper into this project?
An to the op, the only other surprise I found is that some models have tweeters on the door panels and some don't. If you buy a set usually you don't have to worry about it. I bought mine from two different integras and one had a tweeter and one didn't... other than that everything else is a strait swap.
