Default Block number

Can anyone post a picture or tell me where to find the block number on the engine.. I have a 95 Accord EX and it doesn't have the original engine in it.. Any help would be great...

It is located above the center engine mount. If you look down between the exhaust manifold and upper rad hose you will see the engine ID code.

The US 95 Accord EX originally cam with an F22B1 VTEC (Canadian 95 EX came with the F22B2 Non VTEC)

Try pouring a little bit of water on it. I saw that when I was cleaning up the engine one day I could read the code more easily. It's there, but you can't read it because it's reall dirty. And that barcode sticker is probably the tranny code ( 5 speed)

oh yah and you can also check the on the timing belt cover if the barcode sticker is still there. it should have a code, then followed by "f22xx" F23xx" H22xx, H23xx or whatever
