How to get engine rpm higher
While the engine is still waiting to get sleeved and all the parts are being clean. I'm looking into how to get the red line higher. I know stock valve train won't cut it but does anything else need to be looked at?
H22a4
comp 10-1
cp pistons
eagle rods
supertech valve train
race bearings
Balanced crank
goldeneagle sleeving
These are what will be going in it.

I'm not sure either since you're going to be built. I think you should be ok since you won't be having OEM internals.
What cams are you going for? or just staying OEM?

Installing the S2 VT with Stage1[n/a] cams raised my powerband about 500rpm.
I would look into WEB Cams, and wouldn't bother with the Crowers[even though people have said they make good power[which ive yet to see N/A], the company sucks] Skunk2 also makes a Stage1 and Stage2 Turbo cam.
Bisi should be able to lead you down the right path.
From what I have seen, stock cams with a nice valvetrain and Boost, make for a nice ~8000rpm setup. A lot of the 400-500-600whp H guys are using stock cams.
