So I'm sleeping in my car while it's running. Just to note it's a 90 civic Si bone stock. Never had an issue. Ever. Lol. The car starts stalling out it wakes me up. Like comeing to a stop in 5th gear. So it dies. I try starting it. It'll idle for a second and die. If I press the gas. Very little to no response. Will not stay running. I figured fuel pump going out. I dunno. I've never seen this before. Any help. I am stuck right now lol. Thanks gurus.

 

do you have any fault codes in your ecm

 

No blink on the ecu. No cel. Nothing. Replaced the fuel filter still will not fire up. U see I'm about to swap a b18b1 in it. I coul care less if the engine is shot. But if it's in the wiring harness or pump, I need to figure this out. Any help 100% appreciated. Thanks guys again.

Your main relay clicking? You can try feedind the pump power and see if it comes on, and stays on. Your distributor could have crapped out. Check to see if you have GOOD spark and see if you have fuel at the rail, not the fuel filter.

and yes relay is clicking and no CELs.
i just picked up a walbro 255lph and install it.
before that though, im going to check for spark
and run a fuel pressure test. ill let u guys know what
is up. oh and i just found out earlier u have to drop the
gas tank : ( i thoughtt it was under the seat lol. if anyone
else has any input let me know thanks

Lol. Well the guage reads close to E it's been way lower and no problems but I am going today to put gas in it just to rule out. Thing is u can't hear the fuel pump prime. But I'll let u guys know after that. If nothing walbro is going in wensday. Just curious will it run funny being a higher LPH fuel pump? Or will it run the same. I've ran one in my boosted teg but never a stock DD.

 

car is fixed. it was out of gas ha ha ha. its sounds too easy
but the gas guage is stuck, so it seemed there was fuel, and
when we cracked the fuel rail to see if fuel was getting there
nothing was coming. and i we couldnt hear the fuel pump going.
but all in all stupid things i overlooked turned out to be the
culprit. thanks guys and hope this helps somehow, someway lol.
