90 CRX Si died and won't start
Hey guys,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. My 1990 CRX died on me a month ago and I haven't been able to get it started again. When you turn the key on, the check engine light comes on, then goes off, the main relay clicks, and the fuel pump primes. It will turn over, but it won't eve come close to starting UNLESS (after the pump primes) you unplug the harness that goes to the fuel pump for the sending unit (I'm assuming). It will catch and run for a few seconds at that point.
Here's what I've replaced so far: plugs, wires, fuel filter, ignition switch wiring, and distributor (with new cap and rotor). The gas is fresh as well.
I have a brand new fuel tank and fuel pump, so that's my next step unless someone has a great idea that I should try. It might be worth noting that this issue stirred up after I was almost out of gas, then filled up. Not sure if there was junk in the tank that clogged something or if that's completely unrelated. The engine, transmission, electronics, etc are all 100% stock.
Any help is appreciated! I promise I searched over and over and over!

Thanks for the response! I'm not sure I have another for this engine. I think I have a few for B16A engines in the garage.
Anything else worth checking? The only thing I haven't changed that I thought might make a difference is the MAP sensor. Is that worth changing or testing?

I don't have a fuel pressure gauge, but when I pull the line off the filter, there is (what seems like) significant fuel spraying out, then leaking out if the key is on.
