irritating multiport problem!!!
so im in the process of multiporting my dx rex, and ive read on here in the FAQ all the how to's and what not, and the part that says "cut wires c1 and c2 and move them to B10 and B12 cause they are not used and "SHOULD BOTH BE EMPTY" long story short......there not empty, what should i do???
-Pins B10 and B12 are empty meaning there are no wires going into them as a general rule, however some models have a wire at B12 (if you have one that is one there that is one less wire you will need to move).
I really can't see how this is possible.

First, make absolutely sure they are the right pins you are looking at.
I don't see any DPFI car that had wires in B10 and B12.
If somehow they are absolutely the correct pins then go ahead and cut the B10 and B12 wires and solder C1 and C2 to them like you are supposed to.
i really think you are looking at the wrong B10 and B12 though.

ok, what I did was de-pin C1 and C2 and move them to B10 and B12. then there is a wire in B7 that isn't used so I de-pinned it and cut the wire and moved it to C1 and the wire in B12 I think it is I de-pinned it and cut the wire also and moved it to C2 then ran the A3 and A7 to the injectors!
I know i'm not supposed to do this but I can't start a thread of my own for another couple weeks! I did the mpfi conversion with a Y8 intake manifold and got the IACV and everything else wired up and my car runs but idles at 4k, can someone help me please

If you are worried about the B12 with the white/red wire don't... Both of my DPFI 91' Sedans had it and when I converted it to MPFI I just left it to lay aside. Both of my cars run perfectly (as to be expected as I did it).
so u just unpinned it from the plug and let it hang from the harness? correct??
I have EVERYTHING wired up right but it's throwing code 9 and it didn't before, can someone help me fix this please
don't mean to thread jack but I can't start one of my own yet

Could it be the main relay? If I'm not mistaken the main relay is two relays in one, one side for the ecu and one for the fuel pump if neither are getting power I would test it at least.
