Icon3 Fresh swap, clutch pedal hits the floor...!?

sup guys, i just gone done swapping a b series into my ej1 and I cant seem to get my clutch pedal to stiffen up. I've tried pouring some brake fluid into the clutch cylinder and pumping it up but that doesn't seem to be working, the only thing thats preventing me from bleeding it properly is that i don't have a bleeder screw on my clutch cylinder thingy... its plugged with a screw, but i still don't know if this issue is normal...

ANY clarification would help,

thanks

You need to extract and replace the bad bleeder screw or replace the slave cylinder so that you can bleed the air out of the hydraulic system.

Did this to my friend's BMW 528i and we had it 100% air-free in five minutes.

CHANGED MY LIFEEEE

EDIT: Also....GET A NEW SLAVE CYLINDER. they're not that expensive + they're easy to install + a high fault part.

thanks, I'm going to replace that slave cylinder and try the vacuum bleed tomorrow... and one more question, I took out the bleeder screw and replaced it with a regular one because the bleeder screw was so long that it made me unable to install my headers. would banging my headers in to fit the screw mess up my HP gains?

Try to find a way to get the slave cyl to fit..banging headers won't really hurt you in reality other than the fact that you're hitting an investment with a mallet.

It would depend on how you were to bend the pipe..banging it in could possibly create a weak spot in that particular pipe and may affect back pressure...But that's just theoretically. I'd say just find a slave cyl that fits or find headers that extend a little more unless you're dead broke..
