Default New ACT HD clutch installed...now, im having problem (hydro tranny----EG)

ok, i just had my clutched changed and im having couple problems:

#1. The clutch still catch too high. How do i adjust it?
#2. Sometimes, the clutch will catch/grab lower. Then sometimes when i press the clutch pedal, i feel that there is something on the way.

the car has new tranny, but im still using the old slave cylinder (180k miles)

you think its the master cylinder that needs to be replaced?

thanks

i had the same problem. try bleeding your clutch slave cylinder. if that doesn't work, look on top of the clutch pedal where it connects to the clutch master cylinder to see if there is any brake or fluid leaking. and if there is a leakage, your brake fluid in your clutch master cylinder would run out eventually. because everytime you step on the clutch, fluid would leak.

Try bleeding the slave, and make sure to double check the top of the pedal for leaks at the clutch master cylinder.

Only other thing I can think of is quite possibly the install could be faulty. Perhaps the throwout bearing wasn't properly lubed up.
