Default Omnipower M/C VS OEM....help!

Sad to say that my original M/C has finally died after 10.5 years, an ACT clutch, and 223xxx miles or service and abuse...lol Now, the $100 dollar question is.....is it really worth the extra money to put the Omnipower M/C in over the OEM Honda piece? I've read up on the Omnipower and all seems well. The only thing that scares me a tad is the increased pedal pressure. I spend a fair amount of time in traffic and this could become quite bothersome. Enlighten me with your experiences.....good and bad alike.

How much racing do you do? That is the only way it will help you unless you have a short shifter.

With an Action Clutch 1MD clutch, and the Omni CMC, the pedal was extremely stiff. When in heavy traffic it will make your leg burn.

I don't see why people run the Omni CMC...they're just going to fail on you quickly! Stick with an OEM Nissin CMC and work those quick twitch muscles in your legs!

Still doesn't compare to the Omni though. Most people can shift faster than their foot will allow, with the Omni it is pretty much impossible as the travel is so short. If you race it will benefit you, if you just daily drive the car and do fun driving (open drag strip or HPDE's) you're better off spending your money on something else.

Thanx ppls. I dont really race at all, not anymore anyways I do have the B&M short shifter and I have mastered the timing with that. Looks like I'm gonna go OEM, I would like to try it out but I dont want any issues with it failing seeing that this is my DD.
