Seat belt installation
My 01 Integra Type R needs a new driver side seat belt. The belt itself is still intact but it got a three inch tear down the middle. Does anyone have any installation how-to advice?? I want to do this on my own because i'm not paying the huge amount people are askin to instal it.
Call or visit your local Acura dealer first. If it is deemed a "not a fault of the driver" then Acura will replace that belt free of charge for you.
The driver side window was broken awhile ago and a piece of the glass came wedged in the seat belt and then tore it. Are you sure acura will fix it cause i've never heard of that.
He's not saying they will for sure, but Acura/Honda and I'm sure many other Manufacturers have 100% lifetime warranty on seatbelts.
What Sean is referring to is if it appears to not have been driver caused, and a failure or defect that Acura will replace, free of charge.
However, given what you just posted, I would venture to say they would NOT cover it, but it's worth a shot.
