94 integra gsr tranny problem
my friend bought a integra gsr with the clutch need to be replace
the pressure plate was crack, few piece came out and cuz the clutch NOT able to disengage, and so we took the tranny off and we have one hell of time to take it out 140k miles, and never done clutch job or any major work, and also the car came from up north, all the bolt was require someone with large arm to remove the bolt or impact gun, but we don't have either one.
so we finally finish, got the clutch out.
well this is kinda mess up situation, my friend bought the car with everything he got and he bought this car thu a shop. well he ask the owner to give him a clutch just something he can use for 6months.
well i went back to the shop, and there's a lot of good used clutch, but they are in stacks. don't really know which one goes where.
after trying for a little while, i located pressure plate, and some type performance clutch, well i find out this clutch plate is centerforce dual friction. but pressure plate is stock.
after all the work putting everything back, well it still won't let me put in gear.
the clutch is still engage (it disengage just a little)
the way it feel like, is the pressure plate is not getting disengage enough.
i use different slave cyclinder, still no go, the clutch fork look like its extend to the max(about 1/4 inch left to move)
any thoughts?
