Default Clutch problems!! NEED HELP NOW!!

I just put an Exedy 3 pk clutch in my 1999 GSR and after about 8 hrs of work i got it together and ready to drive out. When i went to drive it, i put it in gear and let the clutch out........nothing.........it didn't move. I don't understand why it is doing this. I have clutch pedal pressure and it doesn't seem like the arm on the throwout bearing is binding because i made sure to grease it. I just don't understand what would cause this!!

PLEASE HELP!!

did you bolt up the pressure plate without putting the disc in?

the transmission would still grind trying to put it in gear with the clutch engaged regardless of axles

your friend is wrong or your not explaining the problem clearly .....

with the clutch installed the engine and transmission will always be spinning together....in neutral it will free spin and in gear it will lock the choosen gear out and move the car....

the motor and transmission are seperated when you press the clutch pedal and the transmission will stop spinning....

if the clutch line was never opened it shouldnt have air and if it had air you wouldnt have steady pedal pressure

how tight did you tighten the pressure plate bolts?
you put something on wrong or you arent explaining your situation correctly

To answer D@nnY's post:

I tightened all of the bolts to stock Honda torque specs, greased everything, and assembled it all the way it was described in AllData.

see if the disc fits the input shaft , you might have one for a cable tranny , I think the inputs are larger not shure though

well i have a hydro and the input shaft fit so that couldn't be the problem....right? If my input shaft is the larger of the 2, then it shouldnt be too small to fit into the center spline section...........

the 90-91 spline is smaller, the 92-93 cable is the same size as the 94+hydro

so basically there is no way that there is a bigger spline than the hydro in a 24 spline pattern....right??

I'm narrowing things down, but i keep coming back to that slave cylinder....i'm going to work on it in about 30 min.....

WISH ME LUCK!!
