Icon6 Help Honda Civic Crankshaft bolt STUCK???

Please honda Tech i need Help i don't know what to do?
I just got my used hatchback and the current guy did a timing belt change...

The frickin main timing is off retard? by couple of teeth .
obviously the previous mechanic is dumb ***.

im tryin to take off to correct the main timing.....

The main concern is that, im trying to take the crank bolt off to take the belt off. and its Stuck, super stuck like its welded.

i tried to take the bolt off with even a Snap ON Impact gun new 800ft lbs- which i borrowed from my friend.

idk if he put LOCK TITE or some S*** like that its hard to come out..

Please help is there a tool to jam the crank dampaner for honda?
my next plan is to jam the flywheel starter side, lock the crank side,
-Then use a large braker bar, to crack the bolt.

Which way to remove the crankshaft BOLT off, just we were going left side i think to the headlight????

Remedies, i don't know what else to do is it worth it or will the crank bolt brake?

HELP

If u just want to correct the timing then u don't need to take the Crank pulley off, just loosen the tension pulley bolt and slide the belt off the cam gear. U can buy the tool to hold the crank pulley on ebay for pretty cheap. BTW if it's off a couple of teeth then I would say u have some bent valves as well.

Have you tried tapping the bolt with a hammer or using an anti-seize lubricant?

U mean is it left or right hand thread? The tensioner bolt is under a rubber plug on the timing belt cover and u just need to loosen it, not remove it.

You can make or buy a crank pulley tool. That and a big huge lever to gain leverage should get it loose. I have a friend with a Snap On impact and it failed, big time just taking out trailing arm bolts.

a great big gun won't do any good unless you have a good compressor and air hose to feed it.

like was already said, get the special crank holding tool and a long breaker bar (i like using chain-link fence rail pipe and a 1/2in Craftsman wrachet. good fit and 6' of leverage!!) don't forget your lube!!!

Torching the crank is not really recommend by many.

I have always had good luck with impacts and plenty of WD-40 or PB Blaster.

But if those don't work, the crank pulley holder tool, and a BAF Breaker bar should do the trick.

I use the Harbor Freight Earth quark impact gun 1/2". Works everytime for me.

Use the impact to tighten it and reverse it. May need to repeat process couple times.
